On the agenda this month will be a presentation from Business Finance Solutions and One Central Park. Business Finance Solutions provides loans to entrepreneurs whose businesses are located in the Greater Manchester and is aimed at people already running or looking to start one of the following ventures: - New or small business One Central Park is unique in the UK landscape. It is a gateway of Excellence for Enterprise and Education and it hosts and supports entrepreneur businesses and people through its relationship with its partners. It has created and developed a Meeting and Events Division to provide a quality offering using the experience and skill of the professional team. In addition to the presentation we will be hosting the popular speed networking session and a more relaxed informal networking opportunity. MORE NEWS Last few days to enter this round of EnterPrize 2010 competition The EnterPrize competition provides east Manchester companies the opportunity to win up to £10,000 plus thousands of pounds worth of professional consultancy and business planning services. This round of entries closes at the end of this week and from this round 3 of the final six winning places available will be chosen (a further 3 finalists will be chosen later in the year). Details must be registered before 14th June 2010 and all applicants must be able to attend the EnterPrize workshop on the 21st June 2010. SMARTER - reduce energy consumption with free monitoring equipment The SMARTER project aims to improve the current monitoring approach to energy consumption of businesses in Manchester, by allowing real time monitoring with the overall aim of reducing CO2 emissions and reducing energy spend to those who take part. Each home and business receives energy monitoring equipment and has access to an account which enables the viewing of live energy consumption information. Not only can users view their data but also compare it against other users, their own previous usage and also download reports.
